2011 ECAC Fall Softball Classic Schedule Released

Cape Cod, Mass. - The ECAC will hold its annual Fall Softball Classic September 18-19, 2011 at the Hoyle Elementary School Softball Field Complex in Swansea, Mass. The event invites ECAC member institutions and regional junior colleges that sponsor the sport of softball to participate in this competitive pre-season event. The ECAC softball officiating bureau also uses the event as an evaluation and recruitment tool for ECAC softball umpires.

The complex consists of six state of the art softball fields with concession stands and ample parking throughout.

The event will be played using NCAA/ECAC Softball rules and regulations with each game being completed in 90 minutes or less. Participating teams are asked to each bring six softballs to move the games along. There is no cost to participate in the Fall Classic.

Game times on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday the 19th are 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
