WHAT: 2008 ECAC/CBOA INSTRUCTIONAL CLINIC AND EVALUATION CAMP (FOR MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL OFFICIALS)
WHERE: PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY MEN'S BASKETBALL "KING OF THE MOUNTAIN" TEAM CAMP DATES:
Session I: Friday, July 18 at 12 noon through Saturday, July19 2 p.m.
Session II: Saturday, July 19 at 12 noon through Sunday, July 20 3 p.m.**Flexibility may be available for arrival/departure concerns, please call in advance. LOCATION: Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. 03264 (Two hours north of Boston on I-93).COST: $175.00 (Includes instruction, camp evaluation, T-shirt, dormitory housing and meals).
CAMP/CLINIC PURPOSE: Offer officiating instruction related to the proper mechanics and up-to-date rule interpretations in intercollegiate men's basketball officiating with an emphasis on three-person mechanics. This camp is for those who wish to learn or to improve their three-person mechanics in addition to those officials who have an interest in becoming an ECAC and CBOA approved men's or women's college basketball official.INSTRUCTION: Camp instruction will be provided in the classroom and on the court by outstanding ECAC/CBOA Division I, II and III officials including ECAC New England Coordinators, Tom O'Connor and Lou Filippetti, CBOA President Ron Martel, ECAC Metro NY Coordinator, Tim McAleer, ECAC Senior Associate Commissioner Steve Bamford and 10-12 outstanding DI/II and III officials. All clinicians and evaluators will be in attendance at both sessions.
