Commissioner Keeling Making Radio Appearance on Winter Classic Broadcast

PHILADELPHIA—Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) commissioner Rudy Keeling will be making a guest appearance on a radio broadcast of the college hockey outdoor Winter Classic game between Neumann and Penn State universities.

The two teams will be squaring off at Citizens Bank Park - home of Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies - on Wednesday night. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Fans can listen to the game and Commissioner Keeling’s interview on the Internet at www.herbfm.com. The broadcast schedule includes the NCAA College Hockey Outdoor Classic Preview Show with Chris Heidel from 9 to 11 p.m. on Tuesday; a replay of the preview show from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by a live pregame show at 6 p.m., the Neumann-PSU game at 8 p.m. and the HerbFM postgame show at 10:30 p.m.

Neumann is ranked No. 8 in both the USCHO.com Division III and D3hockey.com national polls. Penn State is the top-ranked club team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and will make the move to NCAA Division I-varsity status next season.

In addition to the Neumann-Penn State matchup, the 43,000-seat stadium also hosted the fifth annual Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers and will be the venue for minor league, high school and youth games.
