DUDLEY, Mass. – On Sunday night, renowned concussion expert Chris Nowinski delivered a presentation to a packed auditorium on the campus of Nichols College. The event was co-sponsored by the Fischer Institute and Nichols Athletics. In addition to student-athletes, sport management and educator preparation majors were encouraged to attend as well as members of club teams.

KINGSTON, R.I. – For the second time in nine months, a University of Rhode Island student-athlete is helping save a life by donating bone marrow. URI nursing student Grace Rignanese – who was a captain for the rowing team as a senior last spring - completed a bone marrow donation Wednesday at the Rhode Island Blood Center in Providence.

ECAC Announces 2012 Swimming and Diving Open Championship Information Available
CENTERVILLE, Mass.-- The Eastern College Athletic Conference has released information on the ECAC 2012 Swimming and Diving Open Championships, which will be hosted by the United States Naval Academy at Lejeune Hall on Friday-Sunday, February 24-26. In addition, the ECAC and Navy Athletics this year have added the Long Course Meter (LCM) Invitational to be held on Thursday, February 23, for the benefit of ECAC student-athletes during an Olympic qualifying year.
