University of Massachusetts Amherst: Associate Media Relations Director
The University of Massachusetts Amherst Department of Athletics is accepting applications from qualified applicants for an Associate Media Relations Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the Associate Director of Media Relations under the direct supervision of the Assistant AD for Media Relations. Assists with the supervision of the department’s public relations and publications production for all 21 intercollegiate programs, while enhancing the overall image of the University of Massachusetts. Oversees the student workers and seasonal employees for the Media Relations Office such as statisticians and announcers. Assumes responsibility for directing all the Media Relations full time professional staff in the absence of the Assistant AD for Media Relations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Three to five years experience in an NCAA Division I sports information/media relations office or comparable experience in professional sports and sports information. Advanced knowledge of computer programs, preferably Apple. Advanced knowledge and skills using desktop publishing and photo editing software. Excellent skills in writing, editing, and publications. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of state crew programs for all sports preferred.
SALARY RANGE: Salary Range $42,900-$54,300; Normal Starting Salary $42,900-$48,600

SUNY Geneseo: Part-time Assistant Athletic Trainer
SUNY Geneseo is a highly selective residential public
undergraduate liberal arts college of approximately 5000 students

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation, a
department in the Division of Student and Campus Life, seeks
qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time Assistant
Athletic Trainer.
This part-time 10 month position includes assisting with the
athletic training needs of all aspects of a 20 sport highly
competitive Division III athletic program. Duties may include event
coverage which includes travel, assisting with training room
management and staff supervision of student trainers, and other
duties as assigned by the head athletic trainer.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; NATABOC certification
required with NYS licensure eligible. Certification in First Aid,
CPR and AED preferred. Athletic training experience at the
