CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) will be holding a tryout for first-time ice hockey officials at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass., on Sunday, August 19, at 4 p.m.

Individuals interested in attending the tryout must first click on the registration link in the clinic and tryout information section below.  The tryout fee will be $25 and will be required at the registration table on the day of the clinic.  A check made payable to the ECAC or cash will be accepted.

Ice hockey officials interested in becoming members of the ECAC Division III Ice Hockey Officiating Bureau must attend this clinic.  Individuals who are unable to attend must receive official permission from the ECAC Ice Hockey Officiating Bureau by contacting a coordinator of ice hockey officials or Matt Fogg (mfogg@ecac.org).

Note:  This clinic is for NEW officials only.  Any officials who have already worked ECAC Division III Ice Hockey contests are not required to attend.

Registration: 3-4 p.m.  You will check-in and pay your tryout fee prior to the on-ice session.  Make sure you have already filled out your new officials registration form on the ECAC Officiating website (link below).

On-Ice Session: 4 p.m. (There will be a very brief informational session following the on-ice session to instruct participants on the next steps to becoming an ECAC official).

Dress: All participants must be dressed in a complete officiating uniform.
