NEW HAVEN, Conn.--Head coach Mitch Oliver earned his 70th career victory recently to become the winningest coach in Albertus Magnus men's basketball history as the Falcons earned a 77-55 conference win over Emerson on Thursday night.

Oliver's record at the helm of the Albertus men's basketball program improves to 72-53 after two more wins--57-53 at Emerson on Saturday and 109-88 versus Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Monday--since the milestone was reached. He is currently in his fifth season as the Falcons' head coach.

With his 69th career win at Rivier on Jan. 10, Oliver tied Bob McMahon for the most wins in program history.  McMahon finished his 10-year tenure (1997-2007) with an overall record of 69-185.

Currently, the team is 13-1 overall and 8-0 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
