Combat Sports Group Rewards Norwich University Men’s Ice Hockey Team

CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC®) is excited to announce that the Norwich University men’s ice hockey team will be receiving a free year’s supply of ice hockey sticks from Combat Sports Group, the official hockey stick, baseball and softball bat provider for the ECAC, after winning the 2010 Division III men’s ice hockey national championship in March.

Under Combat Sports contract with the ECAC, if an ECAC Division III hockey league member team wins the national championship, or an ECAC softball or baseball team, that institutions’ stick or bat budget will be completely fulfilled by Combat Sports Group.

Combat Sports Group will also be providing Coach of the Year mementos for the five ECAC men’s and women’s Division III ice hockey Coaches of the Year, in the form of a set of golf clubs for each winner. These mementos are also given to baseball and softball Coaches of the Year at the conclusion of the season.
