Eident Sports Marketing Named ECAC’s Official Sports Marketing Agency

CAPE COD, Mass. - Eident Sports Marketing, a full-service agency located in Providence, R.I., has signed on as the official sports marketing company for the Eastern College Athlete Conference. The announcement was made recently by ECAC Commissioner Rudy Keeling.

"The ECAC is excited to have Eident as a new partner. They bring the type of work ethic and market recognition that the ECAC seeks," said Keeling. "We feel that moving from a single person in-house to a full-service firm will enhance our marketing and sponsorship efforts and place us among the elite conferences in Eastern collegiate athletics."

The ECAC is the largest collegiate athletic conference in America with more than 320 colleges and universities from Maine to North Carolina. The ECAC executes more than 100 championships in 37 sports across Division I, II and III. The conference marks its 70th anniversary this year.

Eident will market the conference's numerous championships and develop some major sporting events for the ECAC in 2009.

"In addition to being the largest collegiate athletic conference in the country, the ECAC has a rich history and tradition and is one of the premier conferences in the nation," said John Mathews, president, Eident Sports Marketing. "We are excited about the chance to work with the ECAC's new administration and showcase all the ECAC has to offer. The partnership also affords us the opportunity to extend Eident's footprint beyond New England."
