ECAC Names Chad Dwyer and Michael Letzeisen Directors of Sport Administration

CAPE COD, Mass. - Commissioner Rudy Keeling has named Chad Dwyer and Michael Letzeisen as Directors of Sport Administration. Dwyer has spent the past year as the Asa S. Bushnell Intern for Championships, while Letzeisen has worked as the Assistant Director of Ice Hockey and Rowing since June of 2007.

Prior to that, Letzeisen worked as the coordinator of operations and services for one year. Letzeisen served the conference office for two years as an Asa S. Bushnell Intern. A graduate of Nichols College, Letzeisen has overseen the ECAC rowing leagues and the Division II and III ice hockey leagues including the planning and managing of the schedules, championships and weekly releases. During the 2005-06 academic year, he added the responsibilities of managing the Division I Women's Gymnastics and Division I Men's Tennis Championships.

Letzeisen served as the student-assistant in the sports information office while at Nichols and was also the official statistician for the Mill-City All Americans (Lowell, Mass.) of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

Dwyer is a 2001 graduate of Stonehill College, where he was a standout tight end on the football team, and was honored with the Edward E. Martin Award as Stonehill's male scholar-athlete. After graduation, he worked in finance for Fleet Boston Financial, and then moved on to coaching. Dwyer coached football at University of San Diego High School and Springfield College, where he earned his master's degree in 2007. Prior to coming to the ECAC, he held an athletic administration internship at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass.

Letzeisen and Dwyer will assume their new positions immediately.
