Springfield College - Head Men's Soccer Coach and Faculty Position

Springfield College invites applications for a full-time, nine month faculty position in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation and Head Men’s Soccer coach.

Instructional responsibilities will include teaching in one of the following areas:  Physical Education and Health Education Teacher Preparation, Athletic Administration, Exercise Science or Sport Management. Additional responsibilities include advising undergraduate and graduate students, scholarly, creative and/or professional activities, service within and beyond the College, and other duties assigned by the Department Chair. 

Coaching responsibilities will include leadership, organization and management of a competitive NCAA III men’s Soccer program.  This will include recruiting, coaching traditional and non-traditional seasons, supervising assistant coaches, adhering to NCAA, conference and institutional rules and other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.

The successful applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Physical Education or a related field. Previous college teaching and coaching experience and CPR/AED certification required.
