Description:
The Head Coach is responsible for directing the overall organization, direction, supervision and administration of a successful NCAA Division III varsity program. This is a 10-month position.
Responsibilities:
• Coaching to include: scheduling; practice; conditioning; scouting; budget management; fund raising; community service program, game day promotions and hire/supervise assistant coaches.
• Recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success.
• Responsible for another administrative function.
• Communication: maintain appropriate communication with students, other coaches, GNAC conference, college staff, parents, alumni and the media.
• Compliance with NCAA, GNAC and college rules, policies and regulations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of previous coaching experience required, certification in CPR/ Defibrillation and first aid, Supervisor of club sports.
Three years of previous coaching experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:Masters Degree. Individual sport coaching licenses, training and professional development.
