MASCAC-Media Relations Director
The Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC), an 8-member NCAA Division III Athletic Conference, is currently accepting applications for the Media Relations Director.
The Media Relations Director will coordinate all conference sports information duties. The primary duties will include, but are not limited to: coordinating and maintaining the conference web page; gathering and compiling weekly results, schedules and statistics for all the MASCAC Conference sports and disseminating this information to member institutions, the NCAA, the public, and the media; compiling, producing and distributing all conference publications and reports; disseminating and posting information on the All-Conference selection process; coordinating the preseason coaches poll; gathering nominations and selecting player of the week; coordinating media relations with the MASCAC post-season tournaments as necessary; and coordinating the reporting guidelines for Conference Sports Information Directors. Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree, strong work ethic, excellent writing ability, proven stat crew experience and organization skills. This position will require evening and weekend work. The annual salary is $11,000.
