West Chester University - Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Join a vibrant community whose excellence is reflected it its diversity and student success.  West Chester University of Pennsylvania invites applications for the position of Head Men's Basketball Coach. West Chester is a member of the highly competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference with 16 basketball members, and we have enjoyed regular post-season experiences at both the conference and NCAA level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level. This includes organization and administration of the program, recruiting, scheduling, budget preparation and other associated responsibilities of West Chester University's Men's Basketball Program. Fund-raising and conducting camps for scholarships for the program are a major responsibility.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. At least 5 years of previous successful head coaching experience at the high school level or 3 years of college coaching experience in basketball is required along with knowledge of and conformity to NCAA rules. Full-time, successful coaching experience at the college level and proven fundraising experience is preferred. Applicants must successfully complete the interview process to be considered as a finalist.

This is a full-time, salaried, 12-month position with full benefits, with additional income possible by conducting mandatory summer camps.
