ECAC - Associate Commissioner for Internal Affairs

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is accepting applications for the position of Associate Commissioner for Internal Affairs.  The individual selected will be responsible for running the day to day operation of the ECAC conference office and will supervise all aspects of internal operations, while reporting to the Commissioner.

In addition, the selected individual will be responsible for overseeing and attending ECAC championships and events, assisting with marketing and promotions of the conference and will be the point person for ECAC-TV, web streaming, and the annual trade show and convention.  Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, attending and participating in Board of Directors meetings, helping to form a Board of Presidents, assisting in strategic planning, and participating in selection of staff. A bachelor’s degree, in addition to a minimum 5 years of previous professional experience, is required (an advanced degree preferred). The individual must also possess excellent computer and communication skills, and be knowledgeable of NCAA rules and regulations. An ability to interact with the public and a diverse group of individuals and interest groups is required.
