Honoring Crandell Melvin's many years of support to the IRA Regatta in Syracuse, this trophy is awarded to the Men's Varsity Pair Without Coxswain Champion.  From 1974 to 1983, this was awarded to the Varsity Pair with Coxswain Champions, until the race was discontinued in 1984.
